Gave consecutive flop movies in Bollywood
In a recent interview, he revealed that he was upset at being pushed to work in television. However, he is a big star of the small screen. He is none other than Aamir Ali. Aamir Ali started his career with modelling and also appeared in many advertisements like Bajaj Bravo Scooter, Aptech Computers, Maruti Zen, Ponds Talc, Nescafe, Mahindra Rodeo, Chevrolet, BSNL, Videocon D2H, State Bank of India.
Aamir Ali always wanted to be a film star and hence he worked in films like ‘I Hate Love Stories’, ‘Raakh’, ‘Anjaan’ and ‘Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai’. However, he revealed that none of the films he did in the lead role ever released.
He was adamant on doing only films and thus waited for a long time to make a great debut and get good roles. However, as his money slowly started to run out, he was asked to do TV serials.
Such was the condition due to crying on the roads
He revealed in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, ‘I had run out of money. But I did not want to do TV because I considered myself a film star. I used to cry on the streets, in the gym, everywhere, I was very upset about doing TV. He made his TV debut with a guest appearance in the show ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’.
But Aamir Ali got popularity from Ekta Kapoor’s show ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’. After this, he worked in many hit shows like ‘Kya Dil Mein Hai’, ‘Woh Rehne Wali Mahalon Ki’, ‘F.I.R.’ and ‘Dilli Wali Thakur Girls’. He soon established himself as a star on television and included in the list of highest paid actors.
